John W. Reger

ILLINOIS ARTIST JOHN REGER completed coursework through the School of The Art Institute of Chicago, and the Vitruvian School of Art, Chicago. He completed study in France at Studio Escalier, with Timothy Stotz and N. Michelle Tully. Here he was able to meet their instructor Ted Seth Jacobs for morning critiques and lectures. In 2008 he enrolled at the Ryder Studio School in Santa Fe, New Mexico, where he studied with artist Anthony Ryder. John continues to perfect his technique, form and color. He was recently honored to be chosen as a Teaching Assistant at the Ryder Studio School. John has exhibited his work in several group shows in the Santa Fe area, and is currently represented by Haynes Gallery in Thomaston, Maine. John lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico with his wife, Marty.
